Blowing to much air?

i have a 1999 jeep gran cherokee that blowes air out the defrost front window vent even when the air is turned off. it increases with speed. also when ac is on if i hit the g and increase speed it changes vents on its own any reason for this to be happening . any advise would be helpfull
