How can I get more new customers?

Hmmm. No one really wants to think about themselves dying. Do not focus on getting the policy with the actual person who it will cover. Go to their spouse (or kids if they are older). They are the ones who will not want to be burdened. Just explain the high costs of burial, funeral arrangements, etc, etc. Again, if you are asking someone directly about life insurance on themselves, they will just think death, and will want to steer the conversation away quickly.
