IVF -- I have 20 follicles growing before retrieval?!?

Just went in for my day 8 ultrasound and I have TWENTY follicles growing -- holy cow!!! Is this normal? I am 33 with unexplained infertility diagnosis. What's the average # of follicles women go into the retreival with?
