What do you think her parents will do?

I'm 14 and there's a girl (also 14) I've known since I was about 8-years-old. We both REALLY like each other, but she isn't allowed to date until she's 16. My parents allow me to date, but I've decided I'm not going to get in any relationships until she's 16 so we can date. I guess her parents must of admired my choice, because they told me they might reconsider making her wait until she's 16 to date. Her dad told me to wait about a week and then he'll tell me what his decision is. Do you think he'll let her date me? If you're a parent, what would you do?
