Why is Joe Namath in the Hall of Fame?

i found this out two days ago. i can understand alabamas state hall of fame. but one super bowl just does not cut it. all players in the n f l are great. hall of fame touch better and luckier. i will never deny any player his spot. this one i question. hall of fame selections should be made by players in the hall. not the media. this is the selection processes of canadian lacrosse hall of fame. one player who deserves induction will wait years due to public statement . that earlier players are from the barbaric era. the current barbarians control the vote. he will be admitted . but will take a while.
