They all have math you just have to do it. Get a C-, who cares. Even if it takes you two or three times keep taking it and you will get it. You're not going to use it in real life anyway. Anyone that is doing long hand math or calculations on paper is wasting company time.

Is this discrimination?

Our company offers tuition reimbursement up to $10,000 a year. Four of us (same pay grade/position/ same area of work as in our supervisors report to the same boss) are enrolled in an educational program through the company. We started the program at the same time and take the same cles. When filling out the paper work, our supervisor has to sign off if it is tax exempt or not. The other 3 people's supervisors gave them tax exempt status. My supervisor refuses to write it off as tax exempt stating it it not necessary that I take the cles. One of the questions for tax exempt status is "is this cl required to maintain your current position". I spoke with him about it and he referred me to his boss. His boss said, it is not required for my position to take the cl therefor the reimbursement is taxable. I mentioned about how other bosses were writting it off as tax exempt and I do not think its fair that I am the ONLY one paying taxes on it. He said, it does not matter and he is not looking into other peoples tax status because their supervisors did not bring it to his attention only mine did. Now, I am stuck paying $3400 a year (~34%) out of my pocket in the taxes. Over the course of the program, it will costs me over $10,000. Is it legal for the company to do this?

Ok so this is my first time being pregnant. I know your hormones are all out of place, and some people get terrible mood swings. Im not an angry person at all. I've always been one for the implementation and use of Special Operations Forces along with a powerful navy and air force. Cant get 4mo old to sleep..HELP ME?

i have a 4mo old baby boy who i love more than anything. he is my 2nd child so it's not like i'm clueless about kids, but i am having THEE hardest time getting him to sleep. at night, his bedtime, it's no problem..he falls asleep nursing. and occasionally during the day he will fall asleep nursing as well. otherwise, he will not sleep unless i a.drive him around or b.put him in his car seat and walk him around the room until he falls asleep. and he'll keep waking up and needing me to repeat this routine. i cant take it anymore! he's almost 20lbs already and it kills my arms and back to do this but it's the only way. ive tried the soothing motions glider, a swing, a bouncy seat, a co-sleeper....nothing works. i know i could try the "cry it out" thing..and i have a little bit....but we're currently looking for a house so we're living with my husbands parents and have 2 large rooms connected..meaning, my 2yr old is always close by and making lots of noise. what am i to do?? as soon as we move i plan on trying the "cry it out" method..but until then im at a loss. any advice would be MUCH appreciated, as im about to die of exhaustion, lol. thanks in advance!

I'm a photographer who when working with a specific athletic team gave them permission to use my images as the team wished, including on their website and personal use. I have since been replaced as the team photographer yet my images remain posted on their with no mention of my name or business anywhere on the site, while the new photographer IS mentioned as the official team photographer, yet she has none of her work displayed. Its actually normal for dogs to shiver in the cold, just like we do, but some dogs do and some dogs don't. I suggest buying some dog socks (yes they really do sell them) :) Just for his protection, if he's a hyper aggressive dog I suggest not to put them on him because he can chew them off, tear them up and eat them. Why do I feel so bad for my teacher?

The reason you feel bad is that you're obviously more mature than the rest of the cl and you were able to empathize with what the teacher was going through. I've played Jeopardy a lot in cles and it takes a firm hand to be able to control a game like that. If you weren't causing the trouble then you don't need to apologize -- it will just look odd. Hopefully she learned a little about game management, and will be able to maintain control next time. If she's a good teacher, she'll have learned from the experience. my dad has been deployed 3 or 4 times to iraq. he has been back home for over 10 months. my family consists of me im 16, my sister she's 12, my mom, & my dad. so to start off when i was little i was basically accident prone; 12 broken bones and 2 head injuries. i major head injury was when i was in 3rd grade, i was a good student and a good kid i was more advanced than any other kid my age. but in 3rd grade i had a series of stuff happen in a time span of 3 weeks; 1: i had brain surgery, 2: my uncle past's away, 3: while at his funeral our house was being robbed. so brain surgery seems to has caused some damage to me, never made A's and B's again after 3rd grade, behavior, etc. so a couple of years later i seem to notice some depressing stuff. i have been admitted to the hospital for trying to commit suicide 1 time, i have tried committing suicide i think 2 or 3 times. i firstly tried to commit suicide by rapping tape around my face and head because family issues, secondly i tried to commit suicide by hanging myself because family started not loving me and appreciating me example: my sister spit in my face. i still have had many many suicide thoughts but never acted on them. i am seeing councilor for about 2-3 years now. i have been slapped, and pushed, and i think even punched, spit on by sister and dad, choked, hair pulled, ed, etc. (and one time my dad made me do wall sits for 10 min and every time i fell i got ed or slapped or punched.) these at one point in my life around from when my dad got home from iraq to about the middle of summer 2010 happened every day. i will admit that about 1-4 days of this was because of drugs :( it was a new thing i tried and have never done. i hit a point were i was just bad. i did pot, sold pot, and even tried to grow it. and every time got caught. but that was for a good 2-4 week thing i no longer am ociated with that stuff any more. (: but now present day i am a sopre in high school i now am getting in trouble for not taking my medicine, not taking protein, not working out. and so now on my moms birthday my sister dad and i all planned on all getting her a card and an hour back mage so we did. but i after school that day though i would buy my mom a present from me, just me i though it would be fine and nice because i though now that i have a job i could maybe show her i care by using my money that i worked for to buy her a gift. and i got in trouble by my dad for doing that, my mom thought it was very nice. but i think the most ****** up thing is that its my moms birthday on this day and my dad says he is going to divorce her if the stuff with me continues! my mom asks well what is he doing that is so bad to divorce me? he is doing fine he has A's and B's for the first time in 7 years. hes doing good hes not breaking the law hes not bad and teachers say nothing bad about him. my dad says well it just he hasn't took his medicine in the past 3 days and has been talking back. my mom says ok he has maybe not tooken his medicine but thats something to talk to him about and i dont see him back talking you ever! so eventually i say to him "basically telling him i am depressed and suicidal" saying ok well if its all my fault im driving you crazy and to divorce mom, then i might as well say it your driving me crazy to kill myself. anyways sorry for getting off topic at my moms birthday dinner theres my mom, my dad, my sister, my grandma, my grandpa, and i, so my sister is over here eating her steak like a caveman or something and my mom gets on to her, but my dad on the other hand is over there laughing at her, encouraging her. then shes throwing rolls at my grandpa again my dads laughing encouraging her on again, my mom gets on to her, i then texted my mom secretly saying if i did that i dad wouldve gotten on to me. later on that night my mom tells my dad what i said and he says well you treat another kid better when the other has been in trouble before. but anyways i was wondering what someone else out there in the world thought about life. if you have any commits or suggestions on my life please do write them. i need all the help i can get. thanks

I'm wanting to lose weight?

So, I'm not even 14 yet.. I'm losing weight super slow. I'm about 203 right now. This is bad. My goal weight is about 130. Since I'm pretty tall, just a little bit of pudginess won't bother me. But I'm waaay too overweight. I've been this way since I was little. I was always tye chubby one out of all my friends. I'm going into high school and I'm done with being the overweight one. I play DDR, walk my dog for.. 20 minutes everyday, and I drink plenty of water. How can I speed up my weight loss? I haven't been making much progress. It should take me at least 6 or 7 months to drop down to 130. Yeah, I wanna lose 70 pounds within 6 to 7 months. I don't wanna use any of that Acai berry crap, so please don't suggest it. I'm fine with doing exercises. Abd since I'll be going back to school soon, I'll have PE too so that might help. Is there anything/anyone that can suggest something to help me lose my weight in the desired time? Please and thank you.

I want to gain weight?

Hi my name is Adam. As of right now, I weigh roughly 120 pounds. I played football 2 years ago and back then I weighed 145. I have lost 25 pounds since then. I sat around the house for 8 months straight which could be the problem. Recently I have been working out every other day with a good buddy of mine and he is training me. I also am going to try and use some protein shakes. I am going to try GNC weight gainer 2200 but there is only 5 servings in one jug. And it is a very large amount of powder and it is extremely expensive for just 5 servings. Is there any way for me to gain the weight I used to have? And gain muscle as well? I just don't have that much money and I don't want to spend 30 bucks on something that only gives me 5 servings each time. My metabolism is very high so I have always struggled with gaining weight. I am tired of being so small and I want to look bigger by the time summer time gets here. So any advice would help. Please let me know. Thanks.

If you compare the audience at concerts over the years, you'll notice that some applaud the performer(s) either as soon as the song starts or as soon as they start singing. I had this dream last year but it was that amazing to me that I figured that I would share it and you could share your thoughts on it because I'm not completely sure what it means. So, in my dream it was night time and I was standing outside in my driveway and then I looked up and in the sky I saw these pastel-ish colored lights, almost like the northern lights. Then I started to hear this music, almost like trumpets/horns. In my dream I ran upstairs and went on the computer to yahoo answers (yes I'm serious) and there were questions posted about these lights that I saw. They were questions like "do you really think that Jesus has returned?" and then there were answers like "no way it was just a reflection" or something like that trying to give a scientific explaination. In the dream I was getting upset because there were so many people that didn't believe in God. Then in my dream I went back outside and then I saw this wheel like structure in the sky and it was round and orange/yellowish and red. There were a few arrows (not sure how many) and they were each going in different directions (clockwise and counter-clockwise) around this wheel. Keep in mind that I was still hearing this music from earlier in the dream. Then I finally woke up and I had this overwhelming happiness that I've never felt before, it's actually hard to explain. Pregnant, Cyst or Ovarian cancer?

On April 1st I started what I thought was my period but it only lasted one day. The second and third day was just a spotting. I have taken 4 HPT all were negative. I have cramping and a great deal of abdominal swelling, bloating,really gy and I just can't seem to fit into my clothes. If I were pregnant it would only be 4 weeks but that is to early to have gained weight and have this much bloating. My iggy is nose rubbing. WHY?

My baby iggy is nose rubbing. A LOT. He's probably a few months, maybe 4, 5 or 6. He's a hearty eater. I feed him everyday--greens (usually green leaf/kale/mustard), usually yellow squash or zuchini and occasionally a fruit. He gets sprinkled calcium supplement and a sprinkled multi vitamin supplement with every meal. I have a heat light and a uvb light and defined basking/ shade areas. He has a nice big water bowl and seems to be a happy, healthy baby...but he nose rubs all the time. Usually on his drift wood branch and I find that too be so abrasive for his face. He usually rubs all the way near his eyes. I've heard that iguanas will bug out their eyes to "itch" themselves and I often see him do that before or after nose rubbing. He is also a big sneezer. I hear him sneeze more often than I've ever noticed an iguana sneeze...and he usually has crusty white salts near his nostrils. I don't think he gets too much sodium in his food though, so I'm not sure why. His cage is about 12"H x 30"L. I do intend to get a bigger cage soon. Could shedding his face make him itch possibly? Maybe that's why he nose rubs? I'd love some input!
